About the role
- The position is responsible for all live event production and web streaming for UNC Athletics.
- This includes designing, organizing, and producing various video content.
- The position will also contribute to the management of new media efforts.
Responsibilities
- Manage live video production equipment.
- Create and develop department-wide video solutions for advertising and promotions, ticket sales, branding, etc.
- Manage video boards and production software hardware, including staying up-to-date on the latest technology and opportunities for increased video promotion and branding.
- Manage and maintain video equipment inventory and connectivity. (5%) 5.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a field such as Communications, Video Production, etc., or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in college athletics, sports broadcasting, or a related field.
- Prefer progressive, results-oriented experience in collegiate or professional sports.
- Familiarity and experience with coordinating game days.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and enjoy creating and implementing new initiatives.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and/or material with discretion.
- Must be able to represent the Athletic Department in a positive manner.

Nice to have
- A master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
