Responsibilities
- Design utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) sites
- Develop site grading and drainage plans for renewable energy facilities
- Perform stormwater management and hydrologic/hydraulic analyses
- Design: Site access roads, Equipment pads, Erosion and sediment control, Utility layouts, Earthwork and cut/fill balancing
- Support projects from feasibility through construction
- Recognized as #70 in the ENR Top 500 Design Firms, ranked in every region
- Recognized as the 2025 ENR Design Firm of the year for the Southeastern US
Requirements
- Experience with: Grading, Drainage, Stormwater design, utility layouts
- Resumes from approved vendors must be specifically requested by Atwell and approved by the Atwell Talent Acquisition Team.
- 2-5+ years of civil/site design experience
Nice to have
- Assist with permitting and agency coordination
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS (preferred)
- Civil site grading and earthwork tools
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT preferred; PE a plus
Compensation
