About the role
- The role includes setting up and removing test equipment, conducting basic acceptance and maintenance testing, and cleaning.
- The technician is knowledgeable about hazardous electrical energy procedures and requires limited supervision.

Responsibilities
- Can co-lead projects and team members and share responsibilities with lead technicians for project success from start to finish, including final report to client.
- Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness of test equipment and work areas.
- Perform basic electrical measurements under the guidance of senior technicians.
Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand, climb, pull, push, sit, and work in a cramped or confined space.
- Must have a satisfactory background/MVR check.
- Must have reliable transportation and possess a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Nice to have
- High school diploma/GED required, Associate's degree from an accredited 2-year technical college or trade school preferred.
- NETA certification level 2 preferred.
- 2+ years of experience.
- OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training a plus.
Skills
- Ensure tools and equipment are kept in good condition.
- Interpersonal and social skills; strong customer service skills.
