About the role

  • The Inventory Clerk is responsible for end-to-end handling of indirect goods, from receiving inbound shipments to maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Receive all inbound non-inventory shipments, from small parcels (UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc.) to full truckloads.
  • Inspect and verify deliveries against Purchase Orders, Bills of Lading (BOL), and Order Confirmations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver small parcels to the correct department, team, or individual.
  • Maintain organized and compliant receiving areas in line with SOPs.
  • Confirm, document, and record all received goods in ERP and inventory management systems.
  • Maintain accurate records for compliance and audit readiness.
  • This role combines operational excellence in both receiving and inventory control to ensure materials and supplies are accurately accounted for, organized, and readily available to support operational needs.
  • Suggest and implement improvements in receiving and inventory workflows.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication on inventory levels, discrepancies, and supply needs.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, Highjump).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Strong understanding of inbound operations, inventory control, and quality management practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
