About the role

This person will also be responsible for other ad hoc projects as assigned, which will cover all aspects of accounting for Clearway's Solar renewable energy projects.
The primary objective is to account for and report on multiple utility-scale solar ownership structures.
This is a hybrid role that will be located at our Princeton, NJ office.

Responsibilities

Utilize financial reporting software to create, maintain, and update reporting templates and data queries.
Prepare and maintain adequate documentation to support financial statement assertions and the performance of internal control over financial reporting.
Support the business by providing accurate general ledger account coding for utility-scale solar projects.
Collaborate with and respond to ad hoc requests from key stakeholders within the organization (e.g. Treasury, Portfolio Finance, Asset Management).
Support parent and affiliate company audit requests from external auditors.
On an as-needed basis, support the Tax department as needed for income tax preparation for partnership returns or tax provisions.

Our site-based employees collaborate in-person daily to keep our locations operating safely and efficiently while fostering strong relationships within their local communities.

Requirements

Perform all aspects of work with a high degree of accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
Minimum 4 years of experience in general accounting.

Compensation

$96,000 - $112,000 USD
