About the role

US Applications Engineer (Hillsboro - Oregon) Would you like to be instrumental in enabling the next generation of semi-conductors?

Support the customer in data collection and method development by understanding their applications and optimising the system and recipe parameters
Drive applications projects to meet customer requirements
Support business development, through running samples, presenting data, writing reports, conference presentations and other means
Previous sales support experience desirable, ideally working with analytical instrumentation
We are expanding rapidly which means we need support engineers across the globe.
Reporting to the Worldwide Applications Director (based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK) you will support our customers in the application of Infinitesima products, solving problems and developing methods to demonstrate the capability of our technology at its best.

Master's degree/PhD in physical sciences, engineering or equivalent on the job experience
High level of technical expertise in probe microscopy (AFM)
Knowledge of the Semiconductor industry and/or metrology
Essential - High level of technical expertise in probe microscopy (AFM)

$105,000 to $150,000 base salary, depending on experience, skills, and location, plus a full US benefits package
