Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to help identify legal risks early and enable responsible, efficient product development.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally within Legal & Public Policy and with partners across Product, Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and other teams.
  • Help document legal guidance, contribute to playbooks, and support scalable and efficient legal processes.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues inside and outside of Legal and contribute positively to team culture.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of legal experience at a law firm and/or in-house.

Nice to have

  • Experience working at a technology company or advising technology clients.
  • Experience working on commercial deals or technology transactions.
  • Familiarity with AI, privacy, and/or consumer protection laws and regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with payments systems, laws, and regulations, including laws related to subscriptions.
  • CIPP certification (Privacy and/or AI) a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, sound legal and business judgment, and a collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset.
