Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to help identify legal risks early and enable responsible, efficient product development.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally within Legal & Public Policy and with partners across Product, Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and other teams.
- Help document legal guidance, contribute to playbooks, and support scalable and efficient legal processes.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues inside and outside of Legal and contribute positively to team culture.
- Documents in alternate formats or read aloud to you
Requirements
- 3+ years of legal experience at a law firm and/or in-house.
Nice to have
- Experience working at a technology company or advising technology clients.
- Experience working on commercial deals or technology transactions.
- Familiarity with AI, privacy, and/or consumer protection laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with payments systems, laws, and regulations, including laws related to subscriptions.
- CIPP certification (Privacy and/or AI) a plus.
- Strong communication skills, sound legal and business judgment, and a collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset.
