About the role
- The Graphics and Reproduction Unit provide DOHMH with cost-effective, quality print materials in a timely manner.
- In addition, this unit produces layouts, negatives, and digital output.
- Assures all legal standards are fully complied with respecting to care, control, and archival storage.
Responsibilities
- The Bureau of Customer Support/Information Support Services in the Office of External Affairs has an opening for a Bookbinder in the Graphics and Reproduction Unit to support, troubleshoot, and provide assistance and services.
- The Reproduction section produces printed, photocopied, and bound documents, which include manuals, brochures, business cards, certificates, envelopes, forms, flyers, newsletters, plastic signage, slides, and stationery.
- Reporting to the Deputy Director of the Graphics and Reproduction Unit to manage and coordinate the safeguarding of highly sensitive, confidential records and documents.
Requirements
- Adjust machines for paper size and weight, number of copies and pages, and position of folds and stitches as required.
Skills
- Some experience with handling machinery
