About the role

The position offers exposure to multiple data vendors, platforms, and business-critical use cases within a fast-paced asset management environment.
This role is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship.

Manage relationships with market data and index vendors, specifically focusing on oversight of service delivery, performance, change management and vendor risk
Partner with investment teams to gather requirements, resolve data issues, and align solutions with evolving business needs
Support data governance efforts, including data quality, lineage, and consistency across platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams ( Investment Division, Performance & Reporting, Risk, Legal ) to deliver compliant, scalable data solutions
Identify and drive improvements in operating models, processes, and controls across market data services
This role focuses on delivering scalable, high-quality market and index data solutions that support investment decision-making across the firm.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience with modern data platforms and tools (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran )
Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams
Strong organizational skills including the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and meet frequent deadlines.
Highly resourceful and collaborative team-player, with the ability to also be independently effective and exude initiative and a sense of urgency.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Proficiency in SQL; experience with Python is a plus

Conduct vendor due diligence and ongoing evaluations to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with contractual obligations
Contribute to market data contract negotiations, including analysis of licensing terms, usage rights, and commercial structures
Advise internal stakeholders on market data licensing considerations for new products, enhancements, and client use cases
Monitor industry trends and vendor offerings to inform strategy, negotiations, and risk management
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
2-5 years of experience in market data, investment data, or related analytical roles
Familiarity with market data vendors (e.g., MSCI, FTSE Russell, Bloomberg), their methodologies, data products and general taxonomy
Understanding of key investment data domains, including security master, index data, positions (IBOR/ABOR), trades, performance, and analytics

$85,000 USD - $100,000 USD
Specific compensation will be based on candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
