About the role
- The Audit Senior Associate in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) team at Anchin is responsible for leading and executing financial audits and assurance engagements for AEC clients.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the audit team and clients to plan and design audit procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
- Lead audit fieldwork, including the testing of financial statements, internal controls, and transactional data.
- Establish and maintain relationships with AEC clients, communicating audit findings and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Provide guidance, supervision, and training to junior staff members, and review their work to maintain high-quality audit procedures.
- This role involves working closely with clients to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, identifying areas for improvement, and delivering valuable insights to support their financial success.

Requirements
- Profound knowledge of tax regulations, financial services, and relevant tax software.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Deals with technical issues comfortably and can complete work at a high level of proficiency.
- Ability to apply technology solutions to work.
- Education:
- 2 + years of audit experience, preferably with exposure to AEC clients.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.

Compensation
- Competitive annual salary in the range of $85,000 to $120,000 based on individual's experience level.
