Responsibilities

  • Support daily youth programming and enrichment activities
  • Build positive relationships with youth and serve as a positive role model
  • Encourage participation and maintain a safe, welcoming environment
  • Support daily operations, program setup, and member engagement
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality youth programming
  • At Boys & Girls Club of Hawai'i, our Clubhouses provide safe, engaging spaces where youth can learn, grow, and build confidence.
  • As a Youth Development Specialist I, you will help create positive experiences that support academic success, healthy lifestyles, and strong relationships for local youth and families.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice to have

  • Experience working with youth preferred
  • Valid Hawai'i driver's license preferred

Compensation

  • Up to 17 paid holidays annually, including a Birthday Holiday
