Responsibilities
- Support daily youth programming and enrichment activities
- Build positive relationships with youth and serve as a positive role model
- Encourage participation and maintain a safe, welcoming environment
- Support daily operations, program setup, and member engagement
- Collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality youth programming
- At Boys & Girls Club of Hawai'i, our Clubhouses provide safe, engaging spaces where youth can learn, grow, and build confidence.
- As a Youth Development Specialist I, you will help create positive experiences that support academic success, healthy lifestyles, and strong relationships for local youth and families.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Nice to have
- Experience working with youth preferred
- Valid Hawai'i driver's license preferred
Compensation
- Up to 17 paid holidays annually, including a Birthday Holiday
