Responsibilities
- You'll own technical direction for high-impact AI products, work across teams to turn big ideas into shipped systems, and help raise the bar for how we build, evaluate, and operate AI in production.
- This role sits at the center of product innovation and engineering execution, with the chance to influence both what we build and how we build it.

- 8+ years of AI/ML development (AI solution design, model design, training / finetuning, deployment and quality upkeep), with track record of product success (i.e. not just in an academic or research environment)

Requirements
- 5+ years of deep experience in Python and 2+ years with at least one backend language (preferably JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Go)
- Hands-on experience with foundation models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, Gemini, etc.)
- Experience designing evaluation pipelines for human alignment, factual accuracy, or model interpretability.
- Strong expertise in LLM integration patterns (RAG, tool/function calling, agents, memory routing, etc.), AI orchestration frameworks (eg.
- Working hours to support a healthy work-life balance, ensuring you can meet both professional and personal commitments (must be based in United States, currently not hiring in Hawaii)
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience with public cloud (AWS, GCP, etc.), 2+ years designing and scaling distributed systems.
- Experience delivering secure and compliant AI solutions in regulated environments (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
- Experience contributing to early-stage team growth (0 → 1)
