About the role

  • The Internal Communications Intern assists the Executive Vice President, Chief Strategic and Corporate Communications Officer, and communications team in sharing MSE's story with internal and external audiences.
  • This work is coordinated with marketing and communications teams across all brands managed by MSE, and candidates with an MSE or equivalent experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Are you an undergraduate or graduate student looking to gain experience in sports industry communications?

Responsibilities

  • Support internal campaigns and track key performance indicators related to employee engagement.
  • Help to support logistics around industry events, award opportunities, and speaking engagements that elevate MSE personnel.
  • Maintain departmental tracking grids (editorial calendar, upcoming conferences/awards).

Requirements

  • Excellent writing skills and proven ability to produce long or short form content.
  • Shown ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks and complete in a timely manner.
  • Basic level proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
  • Knowledge of sports business industry, current issues, and relevant topics.
