About the role
- The Field Operations Technician is a hands-on, highly mobile role that keeps our client retail locations running.
- This role is approximately 60% handyman, IT, and general installation work, 40% driving and field travel.
- You will work directly alongside our two IT Field Technicians and report to the Director of Corporate Operations.
Responsibilities
- Technology & Construction Support (Supporting Role)
- Support store setups, refreshes, and remodel projects
Requirements
- occasional overnight stays required
- Proven handyman aptitude - you do not need formal training, but you need to be able to figure things out
- Basic technology comfort - you can follow instructions, set up hardware, and troubleshoot common issues
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Nice to have
- Experience with low-voltage cabling, structured wiring, or security/AV installations
- Familiarity with basic network hardware and connectivity troubleshooting
- Experience in retail, construction, or facilities maintenance
- Any relevant trade certifications or coursework (low-voltage, electrical, IT, or similar)
Compensation
- $70,000 annual salary
