About the role

Pima County's Department of Finance & Risk Management is seeking a dynamic, motivated part-time intern to join our Grants Finance Division.
The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment supporting grant financial activities for County departments.
The intern will assist with extracting and analyzing data using tools such as Excel and other financial systems, and will gain insight into the full lifecycle of grant financial management.

Positions within this classification will perform a variety of administrative, operational or technical tasks as assigned by the department.

This internship offers hands-on experience with grant budgeting, financial reporting, data analysis, and compliance support, as well as exposure to County financial systems and processes.

R ecently graduated or is currently a Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, or closely related field.
Selection Proce dure:
Pima County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates that meet the minimum qualifications.
Candidates meeting the minimum qualifications may be further evaluated/scored against any advertised Preferred Qualifications.
The hiring authority will interview and select the successful candidate from a referral list provided by Human Resources.
Supplemental Information:

$17.04 - $23.02 Per Hour
Hiring Range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.
Pay Range is the entire compensation range for the position.
