- The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist provides services to participants enrolled in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition program.
Requirements
- Valid Arizona driver's license is required upon hire
- Must pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
- Ability to exert 20-25 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, or up to 10 lbs. constantly
Compensation
- $57,000 - $82,000 Annually
- Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification.
- This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
- This position may qualify for a $0.30 multilingual pay differential.
- The Maricopa WIC Program provides participant-centered, evidence-based nutrition and breastfeeding education, counseling, and support to over 42,000 participants per month.

- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a closely related field approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
- Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration OR RDN eligible and able to pass the credentialing exam within 12 months of hire, with the first attempt at credentialing exam occurring within three months of hire
