About the role
- B6 BMC Brighton is a Telemetry unit is a 32-bed unit providing care for intermediate level medical-surgical patients.
- The patient population consists of a wide range of general medical diagnoses and conditions with a specialty of Cardiology.
- Prospective candidates for this unit must demonstrate culture competence and professional integrity in the pursuit of optimal patient care and enjoy the variety of clinical experiences that the specialty of Medical Surgical Nursing provides.
Responsibilities
- Update and manage patient records
Requirements
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life support ( ACLS) certification required 90 days of hire
- PCC Certification required within 1 year of hire
- Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN, Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
Nice to have
- 1+ years of RN experience preferred
Skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Physical ability to meet job responsibilities
- Basic computer proficiency
