About the role

  • The Principal Systems Analyst serves as a strategic liaison across business, product, and engineering teams, ensuring alignment between technology solutions and business objectives.
  • In this role, you will translate complex business needs into scalable, actionable solutions for highly collaborative, cross-functional, and geographically distributed engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead systems analysis efforts for complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Partner with engineering and architecture to drive solution design and implementation approaches
  • Build deep expertise in existing applications, workflows, and business processes
  • Identify and drive opportunities for modernization, optimization, and automation
  • Coordinate release planning and manage cross-team dependencies in fast-paced environments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience in business and/or systems analysis within a software development environment
  • Strong experience with software development practices, tools, and collaboration platforms (JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint)
  • Experience with process modeling, workflow design, and system/architecture diagramming (e.g., Visio or similar tools)
  • Experience with data formats and tools such as XML, JSON, Postman/Insomnia, and relational databases

Nice to have

  • Background in workflow and process optimization
  • Experience supporting BPM or workflow automation platforms
