About the role
- This is a hands-on role responsible for assembling precision hardware, operating automated equipment, and maintaining consistent, high-quality output.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection and basic functional checks.
- Support equipment changeovers and basic troubleshooting.
- Help maintain organized, clean, and controlled production areas.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or technical environments.
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- Comfortable using hand tools, fixtures, and production equipment.
- Detail-oriented and process disciplined.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving hardware environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in electronics assembly, SMT, or packaging environments.
- Experience in semiconductor, photonic, or precision manufacturing.
- Familiarity with cleanroom or controlled environments.
- Technical certification or vocational training.
- Experience working with small parts or precision assemblies preferred.
Compensation
- Production Technician: $26.00 - $38.00/per hour
- Title and base salary are determined on a case by case basis commensurate with experience and merit.
- In addition to base salary, compensation for this role includes:
- Paid parental leave and flexible PTO (3 weeks accrued vacation and 10 company holidays per year).
