About the role
- This is a critical extension of our current MarTech function to bring Marketing Engineering across all our growth and marketing functions.
- Marketing is being rebuilt around AI: agentic workflows, a connected data foundation spanning renter behavior, pricing and supply signals, and channel engagement, and a fundamentally faster way of getting campaigns into market.

Responsibilities
- You'll set the direction for where automation actually creates leverage - starting with our AEO and content engine, lifecycle marketing, and paid channels (Google, Meta) - and build outward from there.
- You'll partner with Marketing leadership with real license to challenge how things have always been done, and the technical depth to make those changes stick.

- Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration.

- Zone 1: $166,000 - $201,000 TTC (including $144,000 - $175,000 base salary) + equity
