H-1B wage level

the lottery is wage-weighted — each level is one more entry

Level I · 1×
Level I$89,7941 entry
Level II$117,6452 entries
Level III$145,4753 entries
Level IV$173,3264 entries

$2,645 more — $117,645 — moves this role to Level II and 2 lottery entries. That figure is inside the range the employer already advertised.

Based on the DOL prevailing wage for this occupation and worksite, a base salary of $117,645 would place this position at wage Level II. That figure is within the posted range, and I'd like to target it. This role classifies under "Electrical Engineers" for prevailing-wage purposes.

Employer immigration record

from this employer's Department of Labor filings

Third-party placement is common here

42% of this employer's visa filings place the worker at a client company rather than at the employer itself, across 24 clients. Your visa, salary band and layoff exposure would follow the employer of record, not the client. Most common: Stellantis N.V. · Zoox Inc · StellantisFiles as an H-1B dependent employer.

Files H-1B transfers

28 transfer filings in the last year, covering 28 workers. Median labor-condition decision: 7 days. An employer that already files transfers is one that can take over an existing H-1B.

Sourced from Department of Labor LCA, PERM and prevailing-wage disclosure data. Employer matching is by name, so figures may be split across an employer's legal entities. Absence of a filing means none appears in our copy of the data, not that none exists.

  • Write Python automation to drive instrumentation and sweep test parameters, for example voltage sweeps across a 36V to 54V range and frequency sweeps, rather than manual adjustment.
  • Capture and reduce test data, run first pass failure investigation, and hand findings to the responsible design engineer with a clear recommendation.
  • Author and maintain test plans, procedures and reports, and report task level progress on a near daily cadence.
  • Support design verification and production validation of a high voltage zonal control module through vehicle launch.
  • The engineer works hands on in the client's HV lab executing component, board and module level test campaigns, building the automated setups that run them, and turning raw data into failure analysis the design team can act on.
  • High temperature validation is complete and low temperature validation is underway, with a parallel design revision in progress.
  • The engineer receives the product overview and the objective, then defines the approach, builds the setup, runs the campaign and delivers the result.
