About the role

This role focuses on assisting in equipment start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing service for commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a strong technical aptitude, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a genuine desire to learn from experienced professionals.
This position requires between five and fifteen percent travel, primarily within the greater Vancouver, BC area.

Document all service and maintenance work performed, including test results, parts used, and system adjustments.
Maintain compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HVAC technicians, engineers, and customer service representatives, to ensure seamless delivery of HVAC solutions to clients

Ability to work in diverse environments (rooftops, mechanical rooms, outdoor conditions).

Assist in equipment start-up and commissioning of newly installed HVAC systems, including verifying proper operation and settings.
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize system life and efficiency.
Assist in diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment issues such as electrical faults, refrigerant leaks, or airflow imbalances.
Verify that control systems and safety devices are functioning correctly.
Work with project managers and installation teams to resolve post-installation issues quickly and effectively.
Participate in training to stay current with HVAC technologies, diagnostic tools, and energy efficiency practices.
installation experience is a plus.
Gas Ticket or REF Ticket preferred

For this FT role, the anticipated hourly range is $30 - $45 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience.

Trade school education experience in commercial HVAC service or maintenance
