- Position Overview Environmental Operator works with the Environmental Health and Safety team to ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is being tracked, distributed and cleaned.
Responsibilities
- Track timeliness and perform schedule daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly inspections of various areas, equipment and processes
- Perform necessary housekeeping in department areas; e.g. baghouses and storm water routes
- Environmental Operator operates and maintain wastewater treatment system/equipment, ensuring compliance with state and federal environmental protection limits.
- Perform appropriate analytical tests and maintain documentation
Requirements
- 2-year degree and experience
- 1-3 years' manufacturing/plant experience in hazardous material production environment
