- Job Title Materials Process Operator Utilizing manual and automated equipment, processes raw materials into high-quality ceramic powders for use in producing finished goods.
Responsibilities
- Performs startups, shutdowns and product mix changes across standardized production processes with manual and basic automation components
- Identify technical problems and implement routine or directed solutions
- Perform in-process quality testing for assigned process area
- Maintain workspace cleanliness and follow appropriate 6S practices.
- Automation systems are highly process integrated and apply to routine and repeatable production processes in support of their efficient operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Detail Oriented: Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions to complete tasks with increasing accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.
Nice to have
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience a plus
- Forklift operation required, experience a plus
- Semi-automated machine operation experience preferred
Skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude including selection and use of hand and power tools
- Basic reading and math skills
- Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
