About the role

- The Patient Navigator will serve as a liason for the patient, provider, and Akumin.
- They will assist in scheduling exams, obtaining prior authorizations, burn CD's, print reports, help with obtaining prior patient records for imaging, follow up on outstanding reports etc.
Requirements
- Ability to make disciplined and timely decisions within in a timely fashion.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment
Nice to have
- Diligent attention to detail is essential due to the work environment.
- Past experience in ensuring ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
- Good customer service skills, Ability to multi task and prioritize.
