About the role

The Public Health Registered Nurse provides comprehensive Immunization and Family Planning services within the Public Health clinics under the direction of the Public Health Nursing Supervisor and Public Health Nursing Manager.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's degree and a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arizona.
Frequently required to lift, push or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver license is required at time of application.
Valid AZ driver license is required at time of appointment.
Failure to obtain and maintain the required licenses and certifications shall be grounds for termination.
The DPS Clearance Card may be required as a condition of continued employment.

Minimum one year experience in a clinical setting
Experience working with low-income, multi-cultural populations
Selection Procedure:
Pima County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates that meet the minimum qualifications.
Candidates meeting the minimum qualifications may be further evaluated/scored against any advertised Preferred Qualifications.
The hiring authority will interview and select the successful candidate from a referral list provided by Human Resources.

$34.62 - $48.47 Per Hour
Hiring Range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.
Pay Range is the entire compensation range for the position.
Hiring Range: $34.62 - $41.54 Per Hour
