  • The University of Miami/UHealth's General Counsel has an exciting opportunity for a temporary full time Legal Assistant to work in Coral Gables, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and processes legal documents, such as summons, complaints, appeals, motions, and settlements.
  • Makes photocopies of correspondence, documents, and other printed matter.
  • Organizes and maintains law libraries, documents, and case files.
  • The Legal Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to attorney(s) in order to enhance office effectiveness and facilitate the delivery of legal services.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in relevant field required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.
