About the role
- Job Title Developer Solution Architect, Incubation Job Description Axis is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Developer Solution Architect to join our growing Incubation team in the Americas.
- This team operates in a fast-paced, exploratory environment where feedback loops, experimentation, and developer engagement are critical to success.

Responsibilities
- Drive the evaluation and adoption of a new developer-focused data pipeline service
- Lead developer onboarding and evaluation processes, guiding prospects through setup, testing, and early production use
- Support hands-on proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilot programs to accelerate time-to-value
- Analyze and document recurring challenges across the developer journey, including platform and service limitations
- Deliver structured feedback and evaluation summaries to Product and Leadership teams
- Develop reusable technical assets such as reference architectures, scripts, and sample implementations
- Support developer workshops and technical enablement initiatives
- Partner with Go-to-Market teams to create technical narratives, demos, and proof points for developers, ISVs, and system integrators
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency working with APIs, data pipelines, and developer tools
- Ability to quickly understand and clearly explain complex technical systems
- Experience supporting developer-facing products or services (e.g., SaaS platforms, APIs)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify true product gaps versus feature requests
- Ability to translate detailed technical feedback into executive-level insights
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and early-stage environments
- Employee is occasionally required to lift 20-25 lbs.
Nice to have
- Act as a trusted technical advisor during the evaluation phase
- Serve as the "voice of the developer" by identifying friction points, gaps, and opportunities
- Enhance developer experience by improving onboarding flows, documentation, and technical resources
- Contribute to reporting on program progress, KPIs, and emerging opportunities
- Represent Axis at industry events, trade shows, and developer forums
Compensation
- The approximate pay range for this location and position is $140,000 - 165,000 OTE.
