About the role

Provide vision and leadership to advance academics, research, and scholarship in the administered programs.
Facilitate individual and interdisciplinary external funding opportunities within faculty in the unit.
Engage in active externally funded research.

Serve on the leadership team and help implement the mission and values of COES.
Lead and support efforts to maintain ABET accreditation in administered programs.
Work with other faculty in COES and throughout the University to build collaborative opportunities in research and teaching.

Candidates must have earned a Doctorate in Engineering or a closely related field, and must be qualified for an appointment as a tenured associate or full professor.
