About the role

  • Provide vision and leadership to advance academics, research, and scholarship in the administered programs.
  • Facilitate individual and interdisciplinary external funding opportunities within faculty in the unit.
  • Engage in active externally funded research.

Responsibilities

  • Serve on the leadership team and help implement the mission and values of COES.
  • Lead and support efforts to maintain ABET accreditation in administered programs.
  • Work with other faculty in COES and throughout the University to build collaborative opportunities in research and teaching.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have earned a Doctorate in Engineering or a closely related field, and must be qualified for an appointment as a tenured associate or full professor.
