About the role

  • Initially, the successful candidate will assist with planning and execution activities related to improvements and expansion of CSMC's Waterloo facilities.
  • As the internship progresses, there will be opportunities to contribute to engineering studies, infrastructure planning, and research related to structural systems, containment concepts, and advanced energy facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support office and facility renovation projects.
  • Support project schedules, budgets, and reporting.
  • Support structural and infrastructure-related engineering studies.
  • Support feasibility studies and early-stage engineering initiatives.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Coursework or project experience in:
  • Familiarity with software such as:
  • Experience reading engineering drawings and construction documentation.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada, able to obtain and maintain Government of Canada security clearance, and eligible to meet foreign affiliation and export control requirements.
