Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to demonstrate how AI-assisted workflows improve accuracy, transparency, and deal velocity.
- Lead AI-augmented workstreams in live transactions, improving efficiency and accuracy in document management and closing processes.
Requirements
- As a Tax Associate at Norm Law*, you will support a 360-degree funds tax practice representing marquee managers across private equity, real estate, venture, and hedge.
- Our practice embraces the use of AI to reduce burden and increase your ability to focus on strategic legal judgment and client engagement.
Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD); active bar admission in New York.
- 3-5 years of tax experience at a top law firm, with meaningful exposure to private investment funds (private equity, venture, and/or hedge).
- Strong technical foundation in partnership tax; familiarity with UBTI, ECI, and fund structuring for diverse investor bases.
- Interest in building AI-assisted workflows.
