Material Handler Job Description Ontic is a leading global aerospace OEM trusted by the world's aviation leaders.
Ontic's Creedmoor, NC, site is home to a number of specialist companies within the Ontic Group, including Firstmark, Twin Commander, and Metro Merlin.

This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management principles and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Two years of previous stockroom and inventory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Must be willing to work overtime and occasional weekends
Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them, must be detailed oriented.
C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.

Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Proficient in using ERP inventory management software and data entry tools.
Must be able to safely lift 20-30 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
This position requires frequent standing, lifting and squatting.
Excel, Outlook, and Word
As a Material Handler, you will:
Verify and receive materials into the stockroom, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
Conduct daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Store and organize materials effectively, ensuring proper labeling and traceability.
Enter inventory data into our ERP system, maintaining up-to-date records of stock levels and movements.
Process accurate perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement, when necessary.
