- Assists the CRO through onsite inspection and operation of plant systems and gains the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve the next career progression level (Auxiliary Operator).
- Accountable to the CRO and ultimately the Assistant Plant Manager/Plant Manager and operates within the context and prescribed limits established by management Monitors plant operation through visual inspection.
Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent fuel supply on the walking floor to ensure uninterrupted fuel delivery to the boilers Report any abnormalities to the CRO and record issues on the "Fuel Handler Check Sheet and Heavy Equipment Inspection sheet".
- Performs light maintenance activities and supports operations as necessary Maintain work area in an organized and clean manner Performs miscellaneous tasks as directed by CRO Operate all equipment in a safe and acceptable manner.
Requirements
- Assists Mechanical Maintenance, I&C and Operations as required time permitting Shall use Three-Way radio communication to ensure safe and reliable operation of the unit.
- Gain hands-on experience with a variety of plant systems and equipment.
