About the role

- The successful development of automation equipment requires a seamless integration of Electrical, Mechanical, Embedded Controls and Software engineering.

Responsibilities
- will include working with a team to develop new PCBs for system and robot controllers and developing Engineering Design Specifications.
- Responsible for ensuring proper documentation, consistent use of processes and systems, and engineering design standards are followed.
- Long-term development projects will progress, a question or issue may arise from a customer or from our operations team requiring a quick investigation and response, input at multiple design reviews may be given, and hands on prototyping or testing may be done in our labs.
- Digital circuit design with Microcontrollers and communication protocols (SPI/I2C/Serial).

Nice to have
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in an Electrical Engineering role.
- Spice modeling and analysis, or equivalent.
- DC-DC power supply circuits.
- Component selection and data sheet interpretation.
- Experience using standard lab equipment and tools.
- Prototyping and debugging circuits in a lab.
- Standard Windows applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to learn complex systems quickly and work independently.
Compensation
- $110,621.72 USD to $149,664.68 USD
- Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
