About the role
- The right person for this role brings an interdisciplinary skill set: an innovator with the product sense to identify the right things to focus on and the technical ability to solve them.
- Inputs to product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders consistent with the shared vision for the product or enabling platform.
- Monitors metrics that inform the success of products including usability studies, research and market analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manages one or more workstreams to include analytics, customer discovery, market research and competitive analysis to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Participates in operational mechanisms that drive execution and accountability including Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, and Business Reviews. Interfaces with product and technology leadership as needed.
- Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers.
- Implements the architectural roadmap that balances innovative design and technical implementation, while balancing regulatory requirements, time-to-market, meeting customer needs and product profitability.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience with software development lifecycles, APIs, or system architecture is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with the Payments industry, including working knowledge of industry standard specifications such as ISO 8583, card network protocols, and transaction processing flows.
- Ability to understand and define requirements for technically complex problems, translating between business needs and engineering implementation.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and the ability to engage meaningfully with engineering teams on technical trade-offs, feasibility discussions, and roadmap prioritization.
- Experience reading or writing code, working with data pipelines, or using SQL for product analytics.
- Experience with or strong understanding of Agentic AI concepts, including agentic workflows, autonomous task execution, tool use and orchestration, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
- Exposure to LLM-powered product development, prompt engineering, or AI agent frameworks is highly desirable.

Compensation
- Scottsdale, Arizona | ($152,500.00 - $226,600.00 Annually)
- Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
