About the role
- The University of New Mexico School of Law seeks a temporary Facilities Coordinator for a two-month period.
- This is a temporary position with an expected end date of September 30, 2026.
- Main duties include: Submits online work requests to UNM Facilities Management for the repair and maintenance of two Law School buildings.
Responsibilities
- This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Administrative Operations and performs a range of duties related to building maintenance and repairs, remodel projects, and building access controls.
- Coordinates with UNM Planning Design Construction on remodel activities and providing building/office area access to contractors as needed.
- Issues key authorization requests, if designated, and updates proxy card settings to specify building access permissions for members of the Law School community.
- Maintains and orders supplies as approved by the manager, as necessary for facility operations.
- May help support events held at the Law School, such as assisting with furniture setup and teardown, and interacting with caterers, security personnel, and event staff, as appropriate to the specific event.
