About the role
- The Assistant Athletic Trainer plays a key role in supporting the health, wellness, and performance of San Diego Clippers players throughout the G League season.
- This role is critical to optimizing player availability, enhancing performance, and contributing to the overall success of the San Diego Clippers organization.
- This is 9-month seasonal role based in Carlsbad, CA and will conclude at the end of the 2026-27 G-League season.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled services including but not limited to manual therapy, routine treatment, taping, first aid and emergency care, evaluation of injuries/illness, rehabilitation and return to play.
- Collaborate with San Diego Clippers Head Athletic Trainer and Head of Performance designing and implementing rehabilitation, return to play, and corrective exercise programs for San Diego Clippers players.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent level degree in athletics training required.
Compensation
- The compensation for this position is $70,000 - $73,000 (annualized). Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
