About the role

  • This position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List and/or the US the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
  • Schedule and attend internal and external meetings.
  • Be point of contact for DWAN and DRMIS related questions and accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction and support of the Project Manager and PMO Manager Lead, the Project Coordinator (Program) will be responsible to:
  • Provide project coordination support, including planning, execution, stakeholder communication, progress monitoring, issue resolution, and maintenance of project documentation to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Finance, Contracts, Procurement, Quality) to support project requirements and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Support project activities including risk management and change management. Coordinate Change Control Board and monitor change requests for work packages and maintain log. Maintain and update applicable registers.
  • Track action items through to closure and support project closure activities. Capture and support lessons learned. Monitor and support project milestone status. Schedule and attend internal and external meetings.
  • Initiate and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing support to work package managers.
  • Coordinate and support monthly project review dashboards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, Procurement, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in the last ten years in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint and JIRA.
  • All applicants must be able to obtain a Canadian NATO Secret clearance and meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Canadian Controlled Goods Registration Program.
  • All applicants must be eligible or able to obtain authorization for such access including eligibility to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and able to obtain a Canadian NATO Secret clearance.

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week / 5 day per week.

Compensation

  • The reference Total Target Compensation(TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash 50,000.00 - 65,000 CDN Annual.
