About the role
- BMWC is an industrial construction company seeking a Safety Specialist II to join the team.
- As a Safety Specialist II, you will: Assist Project Managers, Project Engineers and Field Supervision with safety-related tasks and initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, company, and customer safety policies and procedures on project.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field safety audits and support corrective action follow-up.
- Assist with incident investigations and support the development of corrective actions.
- Work with local leadership and field personnel to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate controls.
- Partner with other contractors and the client to address safety concerns and reinforce safe work practices.
Requirements
- Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Safety or equivalent years of experience in construction safety.
Nice to have
- OSHA 510 and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
- NCCER certification preferred.
