About the role

  • You will be a key contributor on the TLE Public Cloud Team.
  • You will work closely with others from TLE to help automate tenant management and other operational tasks while being part of on-call and patch rotations.

Responsibilities

  • You balance technical understanding with program management expertise to anticipate risks and maintain momentum.

Requirements

  • 5+ years using, deploying, and applying: AWS, Google Cloud Platform
  • 5+ years working with one or more of the following languages: Python, Ruby
  • 5+ years with SQL and MySQL
  • Experience in crafting, analyzing, and fixing large-scale distributed systems
  • Experience implementing, crafting, deploying: Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless (Lambda's)
  • Experience with orchestration, deployment tools e.g CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Chef
  • Experience with CI tools e.g Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, Artifactory
  • MS in Computer Science or related field and 3 years validated experience or BS in Computer
  • We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role).

Nice to have

  • This role may require a security clearance at the TS/SCI w/CI Poly level.
  • Applicants must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • An active TS/SCI w/CI Poly is preferred.
  • You are a highly organized, technically fluent program leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments, managing ambiguity, aligning stakeholders, and driving execution.
  • You break down complex problems into actionable plans and possess a proactive, ownership-driven, and results-focused mindset.
  • You have excellent analytical skills for solving and problem determination.
  • You love solving the complexities of running a deployment.
  • You dislike doing things twice, so you automate each step along the way.

Compensation

  • $163,800 USD - $245,800 USD
  • $148,200 USD - $264,000 USD
  • In addition, Workday will never ask candidates to pay a recruiting fee, or pay for consulting or coaching services, in order to apply for a job at Workday.
