About the role
- We are seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician in our Metals Department.
- In this position, you will be responsible for the preparation of water and soil environmental samples for analysis of metals, and for performing other analyses as training commences.
- This individual will be responsible for following all safety and quality guidelines while maintaining a satisfactory production level.
Responsibilities
- Proper use, care and routine maintenance of support equipment and testing instrumentation.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of good laboratory practice.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel
- Performing all required calibrations, standardization and Quality Control tests.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by management, as required
Nice to have
- A.S. Physical Sciences
- laboratory experience preferred.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems preferred.
