About the role

  • We are seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician in our Metals Department.
  • In this position, you will be responsible for the preparation of water and soil environmental samples for analysis of metals, and for performing other analyses as training commences.
  • This individual will be responsible for following all safety and quality guidelines while maintaining a satisfactory production level.

Responsibilities

  • Proper use, care and routine maintenance of support equipment and testing instrumentation.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of good laboratory practice.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel
  • Performing all required calibrations, standardization and Quality Control tests.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by management, as required

Nice to have

  • A.S. Physical Sciences
  • laboratory experience preferred.
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems preferred.
