About the role

  • Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in assembling cables, soldering, bonding, testing, troubleshooting and manufacturing of transducers.
  • Demonstrates advanced Sensor manufacturing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished product.
  • Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to clean room environment practices and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records/documentation related to quality work in progress test results labor (e.g. timecards) and special projects.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of the MRP system
  • Fulfil assembly requests for prototypes against verbal or written instructions as required.
  • Alternative minimum experience with an aerospace or military contractor or demonstrated proficiency in assigned work.
  • Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope.

Skills

  • Experience in operating and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Familiar with the operation of basic computer programs including ability to electronically enter and format data.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes desired.
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read write and comprehend English required.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings written procedures and verbal instructions.
  • Familiarity with lab notebooks and keeping accurate records.
  • Works precisely according to procedures rules and regulations has a passion for continuous improvement and quality.

Compensation

  • $18k-$24k
