About the role

- Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in assembling cables, soldering, bonding, testing, troubleshooting and manufacturing of transducers.
- Demonstrates advanced Sensor manufacturing skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished product.
- Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to clean room environment practices and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely records/documentation related to quality work in progress test results labor (e.g. timecards) and special projects.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned.
Requirements
- General knowledge of the MRP system
- Fulfil assembly requests for prototypes against verbal or written instructions as required.
- Alternative minimum experience with an aerospace or military contractor or demonstrated proficiency in assigned work.
- Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope.
Skills
- Experience in operating and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Familiar with the operation of basic computer programs including ability to electronically enter and format data.
- Basic math skills required.
- Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes desired.
- Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read write and comprehend English required.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings written procedures and verbal instructions.
- Familiarity with lab notebooks and keeping accurate records.
- Works precisely according to procedures rules and regulations has a passion for continuous improvement and quality.
Compensation
- $18k-$24k
