About the role
- The Nurse Assistant is responsible for performing direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the appropriate licensed nursing personnel.
- The primary responsibility of the Nurse Assistant is to provide basic patient cares such as bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition feeding and hydration, and ambulation and positioning.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED- required
Nice to have
- Previous hospital or nursing home experience-preferred
- Previous computer experience-preferred
Skills
- The Nurse Assistant demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
