Responsibilities

  • A subsidiary of MassMutual, Barings maintains a strong global presence with business and investment professionals located across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
  • Barings' Global Investment Process Technology team is seeking an experienced professional to lead for the Asset Based Financing (ABF) Technology area.
  • This role involves collaborating with business units such as Investment Teams (Portfolio Managers, Analysts, and Quants), Operations, and Fund Services to support daily operations and build a technology strategy that aligns with business plans.
  • The individual will ensure a proper prioritization process and effective stakeholder engagement and management to drive scale and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and execute a technology strategy that aligns with the firm's business plans and supports growth and operational efficiency.
  • Build deep relationships with business units to understand their needs and leverage technology effectively.

Requirements

  • Hands-On Development: Motivated to be hands-on with a track record of large-scale system development.
  • Proficiency in coding with Python or C# is mandatory.
  • Ability to articulate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
