About the role
- Powered by chemistry, our products are used in applications that make the products we rely on, processes, and new technologies possible.
- Chemours is seeking a Process Engineer to join our growing Louisville Works team.
- This position will be available at the Louisville, KY and report directly to the Manufacturing Technology Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
- 2+ years in a High Hazard Chemical Manufacturing Process.
- Demonstrated knowledge of typical equipment used in a Chemical Plant (i.e. pumps, compressors, piping, valves, etc.).
- Willing and able to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment) such as steel toes, hard hat, Nomex, eye protection, respirators, etc.
Nice to have
- The incentive pay is dependent on business results and individual performance and subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.
- MS in Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience leading/participating in Process Hazards Analyses.
- Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) Certification.
- Experience with distillation processes.
Skills
- Provide technical oversight for day-to-day operations, including process monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Work on continuous improvement activities to improve area performance.
- Mentor less experience engineers and co-ops
Compensation
- $97,843.00 - $152,880.00
