About the role
- This role will assist with preparing daily work reports, conduct safety and quality assurance audits and participate in inventory management and control.
- Monitors the overall performance to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies, practices and approved pharmaceutical processes.
- This role may work in the following business areas: Quality and Compliance, Inventory Management, Medication Management and enterprise Pharmacy Operations.
Responsibilities
- As a not-for-profit, we support patient care, research, teaching, and community service, striving to provide exceptional care.
- Perform risk assessments of medication-related matters, and provide pharmacy-related knowledge and support to clinicians and appropriate.
- Ability to manage several priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Requirements
- Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
- Pharmacy Technician [State License]. required
- Pharmacy Technician Certification [CPhT] - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required
- Pharmacy Technician experience 3-5 years required
- Advanced working knowledge of pharmacy information and inventory systems.
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
- Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician [CSPT] - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred
