About the role

  • This role will assist with preparing daily work reports, conduct safety and quality assurance audits and participate in inventory management and control.
  • Monitors the overall performance to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies, practices and approved pharmaceutical processes.
  • This role may work in the following business areas: Quality and Compliance, Inventory Management, Medication Management and enterprise Pharmacy Operations.

Responsibilities

  • As a not-for-profit, we support patient care, research, teaching, and community service, striving to provide exceptional care.
  • Perform risk assessments of medication-related matters, and provide pharmacy-related knowledge and support to clinicians and appropriate.
  • Ability to manage several priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
  • Pharmacy Technician [State License]. required
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification [CPhT] - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required
  • Pharmacy Technician experience 3-5 years required
  • Advanced working knowledge of pharmacy information and inventory systems.

Nice to have

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
  • Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician [CSPT] - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred
