About the role
- InterAgency, Inc. is a small, growing environmental consultancy with a national profile.
- We provide planning, environmental consulting, and regulatory coordination for large-scale infrastructure and resiliency programs in the DC metro area.
- Description: InterAgency, Inc. is seeking a mid-career/senior architect who is looking to transition their career away from buildings and into resiliency projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all phases of water pipe design and implementation, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Review design drawings for accuracy and implementation.
- Develop and execute strategies to expedite a project's implementation.
- Manage the permitting process with DC DOB, DOEE, and DDOT.
- Maintain project files.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.
- 10+ years of professional experience in an architectural office.
- Knowledge of construction materials, details, and methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.

- Employment Conditions:
- Full-time, exempt employment.
- Work conditions & location: Hybrid - Will work on-site at client location three (3) or more days per week.
- Hours: regular business hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 PM (EST).
- Physical Requirements:
- Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing, and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures
- transcribing, viewing a computer terminal
Compensation
- $125,000-$145,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- Paid Time Off: up to 20 days per year, prorated during the first year of employment.
