About the role

  • We provide planning, environmental consulting, and regulatory coordination for large-scale infrastructure and resiliency programs in the DC metro area.
  • Summary: InterAgency is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our Commercial Permitting team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control (QC) reviews on client-provided permit documents prior to submission
  • Identify potential permitting risks and schedule impacts, and collaborate with Senior Project Managers to develop mitigation strategies
  • We support developers, architects, and contractors in navigating complex local regulations for large-scale development projects.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

Skills

  • Strong organization, communication, and project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Experience coordinating with municipal or regulatory agencies within the DC-metro area
  • Familiarity with permitting software or online submission portals
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing, and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures
  • transcribing, viewing a computer terminal
  • extensive reading.
  • Employment Conditions:
  • Type: Full-time, exempt employment
  • Office location: Bethesda, MD
  • Must be able to reliably commute to client locations within the DC Metro area.

Compensation

  • $60,000 - $75,000/year commensurate with experience.
  • Paid Time Off: up to 20 days per year, prorated during the first year of employment.
  • Compensation for this position is determined based on a combination of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, and applicable licenses.
