- About InterAgency: InterAgency, Inc. is a fast growing environmental consultancy with a national profile.
- We provide planning, environmental consulting, and regulatory coordination for large-scale infrastructure and resiliency programs in the DC metro area.
- Summary: InterAgency is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our Commercial Permitting team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control (QC) reviews on client-provided permit documents prior to submission
- Identify potential permitting risks and schedule impacts, and collaborate with Senior Project Managers to develop mitigation strategies
- We support developers, architects, and contractors in navigating complex local regulations for large-scale development projects.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Track and manage permit applications through all review stages, ensuring timely responses to comments and required revisions

Skills
- Strong organization, communication, and project management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience coordinating with municipal or regulatory agencies within the DC-metro area
- Familiarity with permitting software or online submission portals
- Physical Requirements:
- Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing, and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures
- transcribing, viewing a computer terminal
- extensive reading.
- Employment Conditions:
- Type: Full-time, exempt employment
- Office location: Bethesda, MD
- Must be able to reliably commute to client locations within the DC Metro area.
Compensation
- $60,000 - $75,000/year commensurate with experience.
- Paid Time Off: up to 20 days per year, prorated during the first year of employment.
- Compensation for this position is determined based on a combination of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, and applicable licenses.
