About the role

As a Wind Turbine Technician I, you will gain hands-on experience working at heights and alongside experienced technicians to keep wind turbines operating safely and efficiently.
Working Conditions: - Ability to climb stairs and ladders 80 meters in height. - Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lbs. in weight. - Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English.

Support the safe operation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wind turbines to maximize uptime and energy production.
Perform basic troubleshooting using diagnostic tools, schematics, and SCADA systems to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders using systems such as Maximo, while ensuring timely and quality execution of tasks.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels.

Minimal to 1 year of relevant work experience and may have limited capabilities/qualifications related to wind turbines:
Ability to hear and use close range radios.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of basic industrial safety practices (including LOTO).
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure or hazardous situations.
Valid Driver's License with ability to travel (passport eligible) and willingness to complete all required technical and safety training.
Final candidates for this position may be required to undergo a security screening, including a criminal records check.

Ranges from $24.50 - $26.00 hourly/USD for US locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.
