About the role
- SUMMARY: The hourly Special Education Paraprofessional pay rate to work on assignment with Colonial School District is $20.00/hour.
- 3 days of Paid Time Off (prorated based on hire date).

Responsibilities
- Directly support students at the direction of classroom teacher and building Principal.
Nice to have
- High School Diploma required.
- For Title I positions.
- Must pass for "highly qualified" as mandated by NCLB.
- Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred.

- Provide assistance to students with special needs who have IEPs or 504 plans Reinforcing learning concepts and skills.
- Managing students behavior and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma required.
- Two years post secondary education, or higher, preferred.
